1. Acceptance of Terms
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Relief Tracker mobile application (the “App”). By downloading, installing, accessing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
2. Description of the App
Relief Tracker is a personal self-regulation and focus tool. The App allows you to start a session, focus your attention on an on-screen anchor (and optional audio), and optionally complete a brief check-in after the session. The App may also provide basic stats and history to help you review your sessions.
3. Eligibility
You must be able to form a binding contract in your jurisdiction to use the App. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may use the App only with permission of a parent or legal guardian.
4. License and Permitted Use
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for your personal, non-commercial use, subject to these Terms.
5. User Responsibilities
You agree to:
- Use the App only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms
- Use the App in a way that does not violate any applicable laws, regulations, or third-party rights
- Keep your device secure (including any device passcodes, biometrics, or app locks you enable)
- Not misuse the App, including attempting to interfere with its normal operation
6. Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to:
- Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to derive the source code of the App
- Modify, create derivative works of, or redistribute the App except as permitted by law
- Circumvent or disable security or technical features of the App
- Use the App to violate any law or infringe the rights of others
7. Anchors and User-Selected Content
The App may allow you to select or add “anchors” (e.g., visual cues) for use during sessions. Any content you choose to use as an anchor is your responsibility. You represent and warrant that you have the rights to use any content you select and that your use of it complies with applicable laws and platform rules.
Relief Tracker is not a content sharing platform. The App does not include a public feed, community features, or user-to-user sharing.
8. Privacy
Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy for details about how the App handles data, including what is stored on your device and what (if anything) is transmitted off-device.
9. Purchases and Subscriptions (If Applicable)
The App may offer optional in-app purchases or subscriptions. If you choose to purchase, your payment will be processed by the applicable app store provider (e.g., Apple). All billing, refunds, and subscription management are handled by that provider under its terms and policies. Features and pricing may change over time.
10. Medical / Wellness Disclaimer
The App is provided for general wellness and informational purposes only. It is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. If you have concerns about your health or wellbeing, seek guidance from a qualified professional. If you feel at risk of harm to yourself or others, contact local emergency services immediately.
11. Disclaimer of Warranties
The App is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or meet your requirements.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, arising out of or related to your use of (or inability to use) the App.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claims arising out of or related to the App will not exceed the amount you paid (if any) for access to the App in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
13. Changes to the App and Terms
We may update the App and these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we may provide notice within the App or by updating the “Last updated” date on this page. Your continued use of the App after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
14. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the App if you violate these Terms or if required by law. You may stop using the App at any time by deleting it from your device.
15. Apple App Store Terms
If you downloaded the App from Apple’s App Store, you acknowledge that these Terms are between you and Relief Tracker only, not Apple. Apple has no responsibility for the App or its content. Your use of the App must also comply with Apple’s applicable terms and policies.
